Loops such as Greener Pastures and Hellrose have become famous for their extreme amounts of fun and frivolity. Nick Bowman and a Greencorp crew were the first to build the single track over the boiling hot summer of 2005. some of the tracks are built on private land but are freely available to the public. There are approximately 75km of single track around Melrose but many more in the districts of Jamestown, Laura, Wirrabarra and Wilmington.
